I really enjoyed using the technology to publish my writing. Both VoiceThread and the wiki were fairly easy to maneuver and did not give me any trouble. This is something that I would love to use in my future classroom. The VoiceThread would be a great tool for students who are not completely comfortable with their grammar. Also, it would be great for them to comment on their peers' work. It is a much more creative way to publish the students' writing and I think it would be very engaging for them as well. Recording my voice helped me catch different errors in my writing that I did not catch before. With the VoiceThread, I was able to correct those errors as I read aloud. It is a project that students would be proud of and could post on class blog for parents to see what we are doing in the classroom. VoiceThread is a great tool for the classroom. It can be used for writing projects, self-reflections on something we did in class, and much more.
